Animal rescue holds a deeply personal place in my heart. Through my own journey of adopting rescue dogs, I have experienced firsthand the incredible resilience, love, and gratitude that animals can bring into our lives. It has shown me that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can completely change a life.
That's why 5% of every purchase made at LiVelle is donated to Fallen Angels Pet Rescue, a registered non-profit organisation based in the Western Cape dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of domestic animals.
Founded in 2014 by passionate animal rescuers already active in the welfare community, Fallen Angels provides love, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, and second chances to animals who have been forgotten, abandoned, abused, lost, lonely, emaciated, or neglected — the very meaning behind the name "Fallen Angels."
For over a decade, the team at Fallen Angels has ventured into some of the Western Cape's most vulnerable communities to rescue animals in need, while also providing outreach programmes, veterinary care, sterilisation initiatives, education, and rehabilitation services. Their mission is simple yet profound: every animal deserves love, dignity, safety, and a chance at a better life.
This cause became even more meaningful to me through the adoption of my own rescue dogs, who reminded me that every animal deserves the opportunity to experience safety, love, and belonging.
